JACKSON's Story
Born in Huntsville, AL. Moved to Vina, AL in 1974. After graduation, I joined the Air Force, and served in Germany & North Dakota.
After the Air Force, I took electronics at NW Alabama State Technical College (now Bevil State).
I worked at several nowhere jobs for the next few years. I also tried to be a musician with a couple of bands.
I finally went back to school in 1996 to study computers/computer programming. After graduating, from NW-Shoals CC, I got a job in Columbus, GA with a textile company, Swift Textiles. I worked there almost eight years...Expand for more
, when the economic climate of the company made me think it was time to look for something new.
I got a new job with Starbucks (at the corporate headquarters) in Seattle.
Worked at Thomas & Betts Company in Memphis, TN. I now live in Birmingham, AL; working at Books-A-Million Corporate office.
I'm also lucky enough to have some of my closest friends living nearby. One is from Vina, and the others are from Columbus (yes they ended up here too).
