Bobby's Story

Life After graduating in 1973 and partying all summer I went to NLU where I continued to party for 2 semesters. It was at that point that my parents threatened to cut off college funds. Decide Party or study. I was going to return to NLU in the fall and get serious but I got a summer job at KLIC radio. I was a broadcast major and I learned more in two weeks on the job than I ever would in college so I never went back. I was getting paid 2 bucks an hour, meeting girls on the request line and there were free records! From there it was off to the big time in Ruston. LOL! After Ruston, I left Louisiana and never looked back. I would occasionally visit my folks but they and my brother Pete have passed. So I don't foresee any Monr...Expand for more
oe trips in the future. My career has taken me to Indiana, Michigan, Colorado, Washington DC, 16 years working for ABC in New York City, and moved my family to the Baltimore area about 10 years ago. I am now doing freelance voiceovers in semi-retirement. I just wrapped up 46 years behind a mic. Feel free to check out my website robertjacobsvoice.com.
