Bobby's Story
Life
Since leaving Northeast I've had good times and a few bad ones. I only would change a few things. All my children(7)are just about grown(31-29-27-25-20-18-11). I joined the Military 10 months after we left high school. Reggie McAllister and Reggie Hall both from the class of 71, and myself joined the Army on the buddy plan. I had a medical problem during our physical in OKC and they went on without me. I did see them at basic training, three weeks in head of me. I served one tour in Vietnam and discharge after serving three years in the military. I joined the Army Reserve and retired after 21 total years of military service.

Monroney Aeronautical Center here in Oklahoma City. Twenty Seven years later I'm the Assistant Division Manager in charge of operations over the Distribution Center. It is our job to supply all the FAA with equipment used by Air Traffic Controllers and Airway Facility Technicians to land airplanes. I have 8 supervisors and 2 office administrators report directly to me. We have a total of 120 people in our division. We take pride in knowing we do our part to keep America public flying. Part of the bad times was 9/11 which put alot of stress on the FAA. The rules following 9/11 made by FAA hurt us as much as it hurt everyone else. Our people worked hard to put our working life back together.
