Bonnie's Story
Life
I married Dan Chriss from our class in 1973. We have two children, a daughter and a son. We lived in Allen Park, MI, until 1981 and moved to Canton, MI, until 2005. We now have our residence in North Port, Florida (2005). It IS paradise. After 8 years of working for General Motors Legal Staff, 8 years as a stay-at-home mom, and then 8 years as a legal secretary at a local law office, I got out of the law field and worked as an Executive Assistant for 10 good years at Yazaki North America (in Canton), a global automotive wire harness supplier. , I like it HOT), and have now realized our dream by building a home in North Port, which is located on the gulf side near Port Charlotte, Englewood, Venice, and Warm Mineral Springs and in Sarasota County. Yippee! No more sub-zero winters! For almost six years, I worked various positions for the Sarasota County Schools and resigned from my Registrar position to have the same stress-free life as Dan. : ) The only other big travel was to four of the Hawaiian Islands for our 25th anniversary. We love living in Florida, and as expressed above, we do not miss Michigan winters. It is fun living in the area you vacation.
