Bonnie's Story
Life
I left Training at the young age of 15 to get married. I was married for 16 years. Have 4 children, 3 grandchildren and one Great Granddaughter. I married in 1954. My first son was born in 1956. Married twice more, but I have been on my own since 1986. At a time in my life I enjoy my privacy, but do miss sharing my life with someone other than my children. I still live in Memphis, but have been strongly thinking about relocating. Love the ocean. Had the good fortune to live on a 52 ft.Yacht for awhile and traveled the Florida Keys and Bahama Islands.
I have been in sales since 1979, and presently market several products out of my home. I have had many obstacles thrown at me over the years, but too stubborn to let them get me down.(Auto Accidents, Cancer, Fibromyalgia, Crushed hip joint etc.) Sometimes think I should do the battery commercials, or whatever it is that say's "Takes a likin, but keeps on...Expand for more
tickin"
My oldest son has his own Martial Arts Studio here in Memphis. I left Memphis to live in Japan when he was only 6 weeks old. He didn't speak english until he was 5. My oldest daughter was born in Japan. She and my youngest son run the family business. My youngest daughter has a Pet Sitting Service. She and her 2 sons live with me.
I was also under contract with Columbia Studio's but when they wanted me to leave my children for 2 years to do the Hollywood thing I refused. Did do 2 "Route 66" and another TV show with Janet Leigh & Harry Gardino. He was a real jerk. Janet was a sweetheart. Marty Milner got me into Route 66. Hated to hear of his passing. He was a gentle soul.
My youngest son was murdered July 02, 2012 because he stood up to gang violence on his street. Tried to warn him, but he was too much like me and couldn't tolerate punks.
That's about it.
Sincerely,
Bonnie Lofton Hunter
