Bonnie's Story
My career has been as a bookkeeper straight out of school. Eventually I started working in the construction industry, and have now become specialized in my field.
As a kid, I always wanted a pony, but never had much opportunity to be around them. In 1971, I started learning to ride horses, and was totally bitten by the bug. I bought my first horse in 1971, trail rode and showed him for 20 years. I had two other horses during that time as well, and continued riding and showing, both English and Western, until 2006, when my last horse passed away.
I did quite a bit of traveling around the country for horse shows and horse club meetings. This is the hobby and passion that kept me busy for over 35 years.

in 95 to help take care of my parents, as my father was becoming unable to do much. He passed away in 2003, and now I take care of my Mom, who is now 81.
I love roses, and have had a large garden for many years, with over 30 rose bushes and other flowers.
Three years ago, I took up ballroom dancing for exercise and social life, and it has been tremendous fun! I can do a dozen different dances and have met lots of great new people. I love to watch Dancing with the Stars, too.
When the reunions have come up, I made sure I got to each one, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing fellow classmates who showed up.
I hope to reconnect with some of the people I grew up with, so that's why I joined Classmates. Hope to hear from many of you.
