Bonnie's Story
Life
Currently, I live right outside Washington DC and work for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the bank examiner agency of the US Dept. of Treasury. I am the recruitment manager and travel quite a bit.
I have never married but am happy with my life. After graduating from Auburn, I worked for Campus Crusade for Christ and lived in Tennessee and California. I eventually got a second degree from a small seminary. I worked for several retail organizations (The Broadway, which is now part of Macy's, and Duty Free Shoppers.) In 1988 I began working for an Australian recruitment company and was transferred to Australia in 1990. I lived there for 11 wonderful years, learned to sail, worked for the 2000 Olympics, traveled a great deal of Asia and even Europe, even opened my own small business. Australia is a great place to live!
I returned to the US in August 2001 and to Washington only 4 days before 9/11. Living here has been an intriguing experience to say the least. I am glad I can serve the country at such a time. We are very blessed in this country and often don't realize it.
