I was born in Madison, Wisconsin. My childhood life I spent in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and De Forest, Wisconsin. I was a four time Capitol Conference honoree. I received these for being a standout middle distance runner, cross-country athlete and in the acting category-forensics. I have a very successful youth track meet for numerous year with up to 189 participates from our area. After graduation, I enrolled at Winona State University, Winona, Minnesota. I was very active. theatrical performer, and student body president for the 5000 enrolled students. Years later I returned to receive a Young Distinguished Alumni Award. My first position out of college was as a television sportscaster/talk show host in Rock Springs, Wyoming. I then was solicited to be an advertising radio sales agent. I also was active in producing commercials and live remote broadcasts. I married a younger girl that was originally from Missouri but also had relocated to Wyoming. During our 13 year marriage, we had three children. We all live in Rock Springs now. She is remarried. A couple years after our marriage I was hired by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Wyoming as a District Sales Manager. I was employed by them for 11 years and was named "Salesman of the Year" five times. I also was promoted to the only Senior District Sales Manager which included sales training other salesmen. After my divorce, I returned to Wisconsin. I started slowly working as a free lance newspapers sportswriter and sales at the University of Wisconsin football games. I decided later to open an Allstate Insurance agency that I maintained for five years. I returned to be with my children when I accepted a position as a sales consultant with Rock Springs Honda-Toyota. I have been with them for six years.".
