Ron's Story
School
Attended Wm. Penn Elementary for 7 years.
Attended Evergreen JH for 1/2 year, then moved to San Mateo, CA.
Attended P.J. Abbott JH for one & one-half years.
Attended Hillsdale HS for 4 years.
College
I went to UC at Santa Barbara for two years, where I played baseball and intramural sports.
After my parents divorced, I got a job & dropped out of school for a year.
After a year's hiatus, I attended California State University, San Francisco, where I graduated.
After graduation from CSUSF, I attended the College of San Mateo and Canada College, where I took courses in real estate. I am currently a real estate broker.

er graduating with honors from UOP, I attended the Univ. of Miami Law School where I specialized in tax law.
Workplace
I worked in private practice as a tax attorney (Certified Tax Specialist) for 20 years. I worked primarily in mergers & acquisitions & large real estate transactions.
I also taught in the Masters program at Golden Gate University for 17 years, was a professional lecturer, and worked as a real estate broker.
In 1997 I went to work for the Franchise Tax Board in Sacramento, CA, where I am presently employed as a Tax Counsel. I find the work very stimulating and challenging (I litigate tax disputes involving some of the largest companies in the world).
I retired in 2018.
