Brad's Story
Life
Wow, it's been a long time since the McAlester years. After graduating from MHS in 1982, I studied music at Oklahoma Baptist University for three years before moving to Oklahoma City. I completed my bachelor's degree in human resource management and just finished my master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Kansas State. I've been accepted into the PhD in Psychology program at OSU in the fall. Still contemplating that one.
I have worked in the field of human resources for over ten years. Currently, I am the director of human resources for one of the country's largest financial services companies, The Hartford. I live in northwest Oklahoma City with my partner of 13 years, and three dogs (two dachshunds and one mutt). We're both very active in our local church and do a lot of volunteering when there's time.

School
I respectfully request to exercise my rights under the Fifth Amendment on the grounds that I might be incriminated.
College
I had several roommates at OBU. Dave Dillard was my first and was a great guy. I really miss him and would like to hear how he is doing. Patrick Brown was my last roommate and we still stay in close touch.
The Laura Scales cafeteria at OBU was ok but the name always bothered me. (Scales??)
Workplace
I've done it all (almost). I've answered phones, played the piano in restaurants and at churches, but I've finally found my calling in my current role in human resources. I've done it for ten years and can't think of anything I'd rather be doing. Consulting on business and people issues then seeing my advice and counsel making a difference in the lives of organizations and people is very rewarding.
