Brad's Story
Life
I am Married and have been for 26 yrs to Dana New from Atascadero (Atascadero Class of 1977). We have two kids a girl Taryn 15 yrs and boy David 12 yrs.
We Live in Atascadero and have ever since we were married in May 1983..
You may recall that during and after High School I operated "The Music Man" from 1976 to 1980. It was a what is now refereed to as a mobile DJ business (that industry back then had no name). I started it back when I was a Junior in High School. In late 1980 I a Big Investor Dude from Reno, Nevada made me an offer I could not refuse and I sold everything. I then bought a fancy sports car (a DeTomaso Pantera) and Motored around the state looking for the right girl. After some very crazy times.......
Well, I found her right under my nose here in Atascadero.
Also after Music Man, I bought into the Family Business (Davis Body Shop) in mid 1980 I have been there since. I have expanded the business extensively to multiple locations and sizea...Expand for more
ble gains in sales. My hobbies are, Music (still), Playing Guitar, Computers, and Christian Studies/Ministries. In the Mid 90s I was a partner with a friend in Seattle in a recording studio until the Grunge scene faded... It was loads of fun.
I am still close friends with David Bagby, John Sherlock and occasionally see Tim Benge and Jim Campana. Still play Guitar, in fact I have been playing on Worship Teams at the Atascadero Bible Church for over 3 years. I own quite an extensive collection Of Vintage Guitars... We own a ranch in the mountains above Atascadero. Life is Good ! .. Thank You Lord
School
Attended Kindergarten through 4th grade at Santa Rosa School in Atascadero. Then moved across town and then attended Monterey Road School 5th and 6th grade. 7th grade then took me to Atascadero Junior High but after my grades started to slip, my Parents moved to the country outside of Templeton. I then attended the rest of my school years (8th-12th) at Templeton.
