Brad's Story
College
Ok, so I started at BYU, went to KU for a while, finally finished up at DeVry in Kansas City with a Bachelor's in Telecommunication Management.
Figured I'd better just keep going, so I stayed in the groove and received my MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management in 2002. Figured the only thing better than one Master's degree is 2 Master's degrees, so I stayed at Keller and received my Master's in Project Management.
Workplace
After DeVry, I started with O'Connor Cavangh Law firm. After a couple of years, the partners decided that they would do better if the law firm split. So the whole IT department went to FB&B Consulting. After 6 months the same team moved over to Intertech Computer systems. After 8 months of working 14-hour days, 6 days a week, I took a job with Sprint in Kansas City.
I was an Advanced Network Services engineer for the West region. After a couple of years there, I took a position with the National team in Winter Park, Florida.

l those years of school I figured I would try my hand at teaching. I went back to DeVry as an Adjunct Professor. I taught Local Area Networking, Wide Area Networking, Server 2000 and Intro to Telecommunications Management. All my students loved me, (just ask me.) (I had one that went to work for me in Kansas at the BMC and one that works for me now. They just canÂt get enough. )
A couple of years and 3 hurricanes later, I took a position with the Broadband Maintenance Center (BMC) as a supervisor. After one winter, very very cold winter, I took a managers job back in Winter Park, Florida.
Right now I'm a Managed Services Service Assurance Manager, managing a group of guys and gals that take care of large company's WANs for them. (We manage BMW, Eagle Global, FedEx, UPS, Clorox, and Discover, just to name a few.) Mostly Cisco stuff be we handle a little of everything from Ceterus to Marconi switches. Basically my job is to give my team the space they need to do their jobs.
