Brad's Story
Cuurently a member of the faculty at Georgia Gwinnett College teaching Geography.
Went to college in Kentucky and never really returned to Indiana except for a few summers. Spent a total of 10 years in Kentucky with college and my first job in my wife's hometown. Workplace
My Masters degree work got me interested in community planning, particularly locational and hazard analysis. I was fortunate to begin a regional planning job at the same time as the National Flood Insurance Program was beginning to take hold throughtout communities. I seized an opportunity to get in on the growing program at the federal level by relocating to the southeast and working an eight state area based in Atlanta. Flood mapping, floodplain management, and flood insurance both riverine and coastal are a big deal.
