Life
2 kids that keep me busy, Robert is 29 and working at Innomark Communications as a Staff Accountant. He graduated in May 11 from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with degrees in Accounting and Business Management. He now has his masters in Business Management (MBA), He is 6'6" tall weighing in at 210#. Amanda is 26, cute and fun! She graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a degree in Psychology.
I got married on 16 Jun 1984, and am still married to the same girl! Tina and I have put up with each other for many years!
Military
Started 6 Sep 84 and retired 1 Nov 05. All in the Air Force! Was stationed at Malmstrom AFB, MT from 1984-1989, Wright Patterson AFB, OH from 1989-1995, then again from 1998 to 2005. Nellis AFB, NV from 1995-1998.
After Retirement...
Once I retired I was hired on as a government civilian working at Wright Patterson AFB at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) as an Instructor of Acquisition Management. I left on 5 Sep 08. As of 15 Sep 08 I'm working for Innovative Technology Corp (ITC) as a support contractor, Program Manager, for the C-130 Avionics Modernizati...Expand for more
on Program (AMP) on Wright-Patt AFB. Then as of 3 Jan 11 I was back as a government civilian doing the same job I did while at ITC. I'm the Low Rate Initial Production lead for the C-130 AMP. I left there for the C-5 program, stayed there for 2 years working upgrades to that aircraft. In 2014 I went to the Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation directorate. Here I learned a lot about our Foreign Military Sales. I was able to meet and work with folks from several different countries. I learned a lot about foreign countries and how different they are from us. Pretty interesting stuff! I left there in Dec 2016 and am working as the F-35 Training Implementation Lead. My team works to install F-35 training systems across the globe! we have 8 partner nations and 3 FMS countries at this time. I'm the only one of my team at WPAFB... I have people In Orlando FL, Hill AFB UT, Ft Worth TX, Charlottesville SC, Pax River, and Crystal City. I spend a lot of time on the phone!!
Unfortunately all the running I had to do while active duty destroyed my knees. I can't run much anymore... Miss those days of running track!
