Brad Stanley:  

WIthin a few weeks of graduation I joined the Air Force. After four years, I was discharged in 1970. I began working for Delta Air Lines in April of 1970. I retired from Delta in 2005, after almost 35 years. After living the life of leisure for a few months, I was employed by a company that markets medical laboratory centrifuges, lab analyzers, and medical test kits. Short retirement! I remarried in 2010.. My wife is the former Linda McKendree, also a BA '66 grad. We went steady during our freshman and sophmore years. After seeing one another only once since then, at the 1986 reunion, we reconnected in 2009. This time, we made up our minds to never part again. We'd both been married before, but discovered that we were destined to reconnect in order to finish what was interrupted so many years ago. We were married on July 5, 2010 at the Dallas Arboretum. I have two sons, Chris(47) and Steve(44). I also have 4 grandchildren. Steve and his wife Marilee are parents to Alexis-23, Jacob-20, and Madelyn(Maddie)-17). My older son, Chris is father to Rowan-12. I'm proud of all of the latest generation. Alexis and her husband, J.T, recently presented us with our first great=grandchild. Josie.
