l. I've become a bit of a western/mountain man era history buff. I've traveled quite a lot( especially in the western U.S). I've seen much of the Oregon trail. I've climbed Independence Rock in Wyoming, attended the annual Mountain Man Rendezvous in Pinedale Wyoming, been to Monument Valley in Utah/Arizona, visited the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks in Wyoming several times. I've driven the "Going to the Sun Highway" through Glacier National Park in Montana, numerous times (a favorite place). I learned to snow ski at the age of 40, and have skied in just about every western state that has ski areas. Durango Colorado has been a favorite summer location. I also enjoy the Pacific Northwest. The Seattle Washington and Portland Oregon areas are favorites and I dearly love the Columbia River Area. We live in Garland about 3 miles from where we grew up.. I lived in Richardson, Texas from 1977 until 2010. I've attended all of our '66 class reunions except the 10th(didn't get notified). I recently recovered from Covid-19, I spent 6 weeks in the hospital, It was over 3 months before I was able to get off of auxiliary oxygen. I still have a ways to go to regain my former stamina but am making progress.
