Bradley's Story
Life
My life bio? Well, after surviving with my brothers Hop & Mike those crazy hippy/Walter Cronkite/Vietnam/ Apollo Missions 60's with grammer school at Armenta, Fair Avenue, and Venu schools and onto the flared/long haired look, the embarassing school dance 70's at Byrd Jr High and then onto Poly High-the parties, football & basketball games, cruising Van Nuys Boulevard & graduating in '76, it was a short stint at UCLA, LA Valley College, a year with the old man in Miami and then for something different- serving 6 yrs as a Petty Officer in the Navy working as an Avionics Technician on EA6B 'Prowler' jets on the flightdeck of aircraft carriers in the Pacific. I had a great time stationed and shore leaved in Japan, Korea, the Phillipines, Hong Kong and Thailand with visits to Africa & Sri Lanka but long periods at sea. Rather than doing the 20 yr 'lifer' time to be able to retire at 40, I got married, became a civilian again and after passing up a job with the CIA, worked for a defense contractor in Washington DC. the stork delivered the biggest baby boy in the hospital- mine! He's 16 now and nearly 6 foot, so if you remember how tall I was in school, he doesn't take after me! With my wife then getting homesick for her homeland of England, we packed up the things and baby and settled with the Queen at the Palace, no, actually a modest house in an English village and I took up a position as an engineer working in telecommunications for Cable & Wireless. A second boy came along looking a lot different than the first with blonde hair and blue eyes, nothing like me with my dark hair, more like that milk man that used to come around the village but who I haven't seen for awhile.. strange.. Well, I hope I can make it to our 50 yr reunion at least before my face takes a dive for the worse.. I'll stop this rambling on now folks- but you did vote me as 'Most Spirited' or was that for looking stupid with that megaphone at the football games we never won, I mean lost, I don't know! Hope to hear from ya 'all that remember me- take care! Brad
