hings in life are, and it's not clothes, cars, money, etc... It's life and the ones that you love and are your TRUE friends!!!!
In 2006 I couldn't teach, be a mother,etc..., so, took my disability retirement. One of the hardest decisions of my life because I LOVED my job and the people that were just like family at CHS, guess I'll always be a "Blue Devil" at heart!!
At home now (Abingdon!) , have remarried - a WONDERFUL man, Charlie Lowdermilk , doing my best to face and conquer every hurdle that is put in front of me!!! Try to stay positive, I have seen some VERY sick and unhealthy people throughout all of my surgeries and doctor's visits, testing, treatments, etc...
I know that God will never give me more than I can handle. Little infections and such, seem to turn into BIG ONES in me, BUT , I face it and go on!! My mother told me once during one of my sickly times, that I came from a line of strong women, she's so right!!! To all of you, remember, God is good all the time, all the time, God is good!!!!
***I'd love to hear from ex-students or athletes that I taught/coached.It would be great to find out where you all are and what your life is like now!!!!
