Brenda's Story

After two years attending Shawnee University as a Fine Arts Major I moved for a short time to Ft. Myers,Fl. while there I worked for Sign Design as a designer & artist and sales. This was great going jetsking for lunch. My office was a garage on the beach. As nice as this was , I Knew right away I couldn't do what I wanted in my career on the beach. I had a offer to preform singing and we formed a Deuo.Chuck Courtenay & The Beautiful Brenda. Someone advertized it once like that as corney as it is it stuck. For the most part it was at vacation resorts on the east coast of Fl & my children who are now 29 & 24 accompanied me anytime they could which was often, We would also book concerts in Cinn. Oh. just 2 hours from where my children were enrolled in school. after a few years we moved out of the RV & bought a house in Sav. Ga. and I mosted played club's all over the city of Savannah and River St, but had beening working on a career in a different direction. So.... Then in 1994 I decided I needed more of a challenge I'd been working on my professional skill's enough and what I wanted was In Atlanta, Ga. have worked as a business developer in Outside Sales in Atlanta,Ga. for 14 years until a couple of years ago. Built a new home in Metro ATl I started working at home doing different things. I work as a writer/editor Sometimes I take modeling jobs and sometimes I do graphic work for businesses or people just needing grphic's and printing done. I do print modeling once & a while which is where the above picture is from. I am a professional writer/editor and have my jounialist badge for didgetaljournal. I have won many awards starting in 2004. from The International Editors of the library of Poetry including Who's Who and awarded just this last year one of the Best poet's All around the world. I'm not sure about all that but I'll accept to award. poetry.com/bramblette In Feb. was hired as a pro writer for associatedcontent.com/user/333551. digitaljournal.com reporting news. This is a total new challange. I have a 11 year grandson Joshua. Questions: I was asked by this site. I always wanted to be a sucess when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a long road with a baby at 16 was a next to impossible idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. Not everyone who has a baby in school stops dreaming of a career and a better life. I always wanted to be a sucess when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a WHAT idea. As it turns out I now figured what that meant. I was about 15 when I over heard a lady at church I looked up to say "I think it is better the young kids that are getting married don't know what is ahead of them". YA THINK, we'd or I would of ran so far I wouldn't even be able to find me. Haha To blow off steam I cry, smoke a cig, ta...Expand for more
ke my percribed Zanex. Chill, and write something positive. The wildest thing I ever did in school was skip 26 days all done in half of a day. That adds up to 52 times I never got caught If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have me , myself, and I to be able to deal with the day-to-day wolves. My father who truly knew what love was and lived to love his family is my hero. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is my dad, because I miss him so....much. ONE PERSON I WANT TO SEE FROM MY PAST! MY EX DAUGHTER IN LAW. CASEY MARIE NIX (FRANKLIN) FROM MINFORD< OHIO> (Marrow some siblings last name) Very important informatiom she needs to know. I love her always. Writing is my obsession If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the basement and add on a elavator. My dream home would be smaller with a bigger yard so when I look out my window I don't see the brick on the house next door. Get out of this city! My kids taught me they never forget anything that may help them out of a bind with you later. If I won $100 million, My family would have want ever made there life better. in cluding everyone who has loved and helped me and my son's grandparents from his dad's side. would never do without again. My current age is 44. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be brain dead. I was so completely right. My goals I have met the ones I had in the first part of my life. Now what am I going to do is the question? Make money from my writing would be nice My best friend would tell you I'm shy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as stuck up. I buy a new wardrobe every season. I had to make one of my bedrooms a closet. Now I just have more room to be messy I share my home with dog, which I find peaceful and does fuss at me. I date my ex- who is my best friend. He should be in pictures. My achievement I like the most In 2007 I won One of the best poets from all around the world. I need $ not 8 trophies. I just have been hired as a reporter for didigetjournal. So I am stepping into new writing grounds. In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by staying out of rush hour in Atlanta. Kris Vice and I have been like sisters from the age of two. I was too young to remember why we clicked but our parents still live next door to each other. No one can take her place she is truely my sister to this day My first job was at Bonaza, where I got paid 2.45 to clean tables. What I remember most about it is when it was robbed at gun point on mothers day shorty after I clocked out. Memory of childhood growing up: Me & Sheri Church getting caught by my mom sneaking out of the house. We only made it accross the street when the lights in my house came on. I was grounded 4 weeks. Just glad we only got caught one time. haha
