rance office immediately after graduation. Mike and I married the next spring and I continued working until 1976, when my son was about a year old. I became a stay-at-home mom until my second son entered school. At that time, I was asked to help at the nursery school he had attended. I loved working at Country Charm until I was offered a fulltime position at Tipton Middle School in 1989. I began as an aide the the emotionally handicapped class and continued there until 2000. At that time, so much had changed in the educational world, especially in the special ed field. I was burnt out but not ready to leave. The library clerk position opened that year and I was more than happy to remain in the same building, but in a less stressful position. I have experienced many different principals, teachers, and fellow assistants. I especially love being able to have direct interaction with children ages 5 thru 14, and am amused daily by their honesty and openness!
