Brenda's Story
Life
I went to college right after high school and got married in May of 1988. I moved to the Minneapolis/St Paul area and finished my elementary education degree from USD--Vermillion in 1993. I've lived here for the last 15 years with my husband, two cats and our dog. We bought our first house in July of 2002 in Farmington and are LOVING the yard work. I'm finding that my husband is handier than I thought. We have a passion for gardening and absolutely love digging in the dirt, planting stuff and waiting...Expand for more
for it to come up. We are adopting two children, a boy and girl, on November 18th, 2006. They have been in our home since December 21, 2005 as foster children and we are finally completing that journey and finalizing it with adoption, fullfilling one more of our life's goals and dreams. I have been working for the past 12 years in a Junior High Alternative Program up here in Hopkins and love it. If there are any class of '84 alums that are in the area, give me a call.
