Life Mike and I have 1 grandson (his dad was in an Iraq bunker listening over the phone line for his son's birth) and in 2006 Mike, Jr. and his wife, Liz, had a girl in January and Jon and his wife, Donna, had a girl in November. My mother still lives with us and Mike's parents have moved to "the Beach" in Pasadena in 2007. Mike, Jr. will be doing another tour to Iraq so please put him in your prayers to return home safely to his family. My biggest news: I quit smoking by taking the prescription Chantix. UPDATE 2007 Mike's dad passed away. We have Jon's dogs living with us now. He's separated, living here, too, until his to be ex finds her own place, etc. Trying joint custody. Hard on all of us when Holly has to go to the other house. Mike returned in March from Iraq. The kids went wild seeing him come through the doors at the airport. Getting the boat ready for the season and gardening. Babysitting, too. Our moms are doing fine. Court system is interesting. Patience is key it seems. HA! The grandchildren keep us very entertained! The girls love the ponies so I have high hopes they will take riding lessons. Little Mike is in pre-K and doing great. We visited the pumpkin farm with him in October '08. Fun!
