Brenda's Story

Life Discovered it's ok to retire and "not know what you want to be when you grow up". Also, that being single can be fun at any age. I have 3 adult children; 2 daughters, a son and two adorable little Grandsons. Presently, I'm the director of an Art Studio for seniors and a trained Hospice Volunteer. Became Kentucky's 1st Certified Natural Health Professional and am an Advanced Reiki Master. I like to travel, paint, sculpt, do stained glass, deep sea fish, work out, practice Tai-Chi & Ti-gong, meet new people and try new things. I try to work at having a healthy lifestyle but refuse to give up coffee. I love Starbucks and hanging out at any Barnes and Nobles. I enjoy cooking, dinner parties with good wine and good friends. I also love listening to good music and using aromatherapy. I totally enjoy "true sil...Expand for more
ence" and good books. I have a very deep passion about fairness and treatment for the disabled, especially the mentally challenged and mentally retarded. I'm very involved as an Advocate for the disabled and have worked with our Government people in Frankfort's office of "Protection and Advocacy". I like learning new things, taking classes, writing, traveling in planes, trains and autos along with traveling out there in cyberspace. Some of my best friends were met in an internet class "How To Think Like Leonardo Da Vinci". I have traveled to meet with some of them throughout the U.S. and some of them have come to Cincinnati. They are some of the most interesting and creative fun people. I'm truly fascinated with Leonardo DaVinci. One of my favorite quotes: "Life is the dancer and you are the dance." Eckhart Tolle
