Brenda's Story
I Married right out of High School, "Class of 75". In 1978 I had a son, Gary Nicholas. Went to ASU and EACC and received an associate degree then a BSE. I taught kindergarten, library science media specialist, worked on a masters, taught 6 grade/7th grade reading, social studies, language, health, then finished a MSE in administration. I had back surgery in 1997 for my 41st birthday. That was not exciting, but at least it fixed my problem. I started chating on the internet and I remarried in 2000 to a Montana Man, Ken. He has been a truck driver hauling cattle, hay, heavy equipment operator, logger in his own business, and he sold Elextrolux vaccum cleaners after retiring from his business. I taught until 2004 and...Expand for more
I retired May 2004. We decided to RV and we've been to several states RVing. We had a 2007 Cardinal 5th wheel and a Dodge 4x4 quad club truck with dull wheels. We are being camp hosts in Holiday Island, AR this summer since diesel has gone sky high. We usually travel to Montana, Wyoming, California, Arizona, etc.. but as I said this year we are staying put. My son lives in Osceola where I taught for years. I like to paint on shirts, crochet, do crafts, play with grandchildren and read. I love reading Patricia Cornwell's books about Dr. Kay Scarpetta and other mystery books. I read lots, swim, work crafts, and try to keep up with the news even though the world news is depressing!
