Brenda's Story
What did I do with my life after High School? Since I was 4 years old I knew I wanted to go to college and live like Patty Duke from the Patty Duke Show- anybody remember that one? I wanted to drive a Triumph TR7? sports car and dress like a debutante and travel all over the world. I wanted to speak a foreign language and cook gourmet foods and swig champagne and invite all my friends over to dance! Wow what a fantasy world! So what am I REALLY doing with my life today?

ome and are in the midst of re-doing the kitchen so that I can become a gourmet cook- all that I need are the elements I keep telling my husband! We have 5 children between us and they are our world and we travel to spend time with them and they with us. These days I wear jeans and scrubs-so much for ball gowns! I don't drink champagne anymore it gives me a headache but we love to dance. I'm still working on the sports car......:)
God is the major factor in our lives and we devote much of our time to church and recovery ministry.We found out it's not about the things we do or have but the people in our lives that matter.
