brenda's Story
I was the shy girl that always stayed to myself and never talked or participated in anything sports.. I wasn't very popular at all and I was told once that it was because I didn't flirt or hang all over the guys. I had long black hair kinda of chunky. I got married in 83 right after graduation then moved to dodge texas I had 2 great kids Matt that was born in 84 then my beautiful daughter that was born in 89 and now I am the grandparent of 2 fixing to be 3 grandbabies.. I stayed married for 21 yrs and got divorced in 2005.. In 1994 I got my certification for Certified nursing aide and I worked at Cleveland hospital for 8 yrs and I absolutely loved it. I messed around and had the gastric bypass and it went very wrong and 3 months of hospitalization and 8 surgeries later I get to get out of the hospital I lost a tremendous amout of weight but, I also lost all of my insides except my heart, lungs, kidneys and part of my colon, and liver.. SO I DONT RECOMMEND THAT SURGERY TO NO ONE. I was on the vent for 2 1/2 months and they put a trachea in my throat for the vent after 10 days, I was on the feeding tube and all. that is the reason I don't recommend this deadly surgery.. I am recouped now and ready to go live my life. I went in on oct 17,2001 and I didn't get out till january 16, 2002. After I lost my mother and my kids got half way grown my and the kids boogied and got away from my now ex husband. I now live in dayton Texas and Loving it
I always wanted to be a nurse or vet when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
By going out side and working in my yard cutting and chopping down weeds and brush or I sure could go fishing and boating

My hero was my dad and my mom they were always there for us kids and other family member and friends thru thick and thin no matter how bad they felt and just didnt have that to get up and go they got up and went and I sure do miss my parents
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is lester ceasar, because he was one of the ones that acted like he had a crush on me.
I have 3 dogs a chiwennie and a chiuhua and a pit that just had 12 pit babies. Me I am into wrestling I love watchin wrestling. My obsession is my kids and grandkids and my fiancee
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the whole house and add on a gazebo for my hot tub. My dream home would be in florida right on the beach.

My current age is 46. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be so cool . I was so completely wrong they were cruel.
I worked as a CNA for 8 yrs was going to go to kingwood college and get my LVN license and then later go get RN. You have to do one step at a time to get better at what you do best and taking care of patients the elderly and they disabled is what I loved and still love to do
My best friend would tell you I'm true hearted and a caring lady, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as b with a burden.
I share my home with bobby, which I find is my fiancee.
I dont have a trophy but what I do have is a letter in my plaque from a man and his wife that was wrote to my supervisor about me and another lady that had helped them when they had a wreck on 150 between coldspring and evergreen texas that her and I were excellent and that we knew what to do on a bad and serious accident as theres was and teh great care that we took and tending to his wife then to him until life flight took them to herman hospital and he was the head of ems in new york city
In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by staying healthy.
I just can't pick one I have several and we met in high school and they treated me like I was a part of them. They didn't treat me like they were better than me they let me be a part of them.. Alot 90% of my friends were black women and men and I wouldn't trade them for a million dollars.
My first job was at texas home health, where I got paid $5.25 to be a provider. What I remember most about it is having to take care of a lady that had 3 huge dogs in her house and a snake that job didnt last to long with me.
As a child growing up I was 99.9% deaf and the teacher I had were awesome. I remember the best teacher was a lady name Ms. Rosenburg in cleveland elem school and she was a black lady that always had a smile and some of the longest fingernails i ever seen in my life but, man I sure loved that lady. When I graduated from 8th grade to 9th my daddy bought me a pet deer that still had spots and I had a ratcoon that I was raising so , when I come home from school me and my pets (deer and ratcoon) would go down to the artesian well and charlie (coon) would dig for crawfish and bambi would eat his berries. I raised bambi on a bottle till he gotten bigger every morning he would come into my room and bleat letting me know it was time to get up and let him out to potty and get ready for school.. Man I miss those days
