Brenda's Story
Remember how we used to skate on the creek in front of Hunter's Glen??I just can't remember who I kissed on the ice under the bridge over Midland Ave. We always went to my house after and my Mom made hot chocolate. She also made sure I had a birthday party in the REC room every year. I was a very active Girl Guide, sang in the Church choir ( which made me think I had a good voice).
During High school I went regularly to Club Cedar, oh we used to sneak in Carole Pope thru the bath room window.
We danced every weekend and on Fridays we went to either the Thompson Dance or Cedarbrae. I went off in 11 grade to take the Dental assistant course at West Hill where I graduated.
The day I graduated I went to Montreal for Expo 67 and never came home or looked back. I worked as a dental assistant and then ended up working at Expo and in some boutiques. After a couple of years I came back to Toronto and lived downtown . I was a reg...Expand for more

I drove out to British Columbia in 1970 with some friends from Montreal. I have been on the West Coast ever since. I lived for 7 years in downtown Vancouver and wanted to live in the country. I ended up in Washington state because a small farm was cheap at the time. It is only about 8 miles south of White Rock.
I have lived on the same 5 acres in a hundred year old home for 33 years. I have 2 adopted grown children and 2 grandchildren.
I ended up working in many different jobs and now I am semi retired. I volunteer with my boyfriend at the local theater, which keeps me busy. I am near to Vancouver and Seattle and Bellingham Wash. Just 4 miles from the Pacific Ocean in a very beautiful place .
I grew up on Deerfield place, does anyone know where Bill Mitchell is that lived on Deerfield Road??
