Brenda's Story
I attended Laurel Highlands HS, Uniontown HS, and Osborn HS (Detroit, MI).
Yep! Three different high schools in two different states! Just as I moved a lot in high school I moved a lot as an adult. After graduation I moved all over the Detroit area, both eastside and westside moving practically every six months. In the mid-80's I spent about 8 months in Virginia. In 1989 I left Michigan for the Los Angeles area (South Bay). After my daughter was born in 1992 we thought it would be a good idea to move back to Michigan. a bit too much so we packed up and moved back to Los Angeles in 1996, this time landing in Hollywood. Believe it or not I've remained in the same house now since April 1996! To satisfy my wanderlust I've taken to traveling as often as I can. I've been all over the US, Mexico, and Canada. Internationally, I've been to Tahiti, Thailand, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, and Morocco.
I love my life! I have two wonderful kids, 13 & 15 and an amazing significant other. Life is good!
I work for a non-profit youth organization. Though the hours can be overwhelming the work is immensely rewarding.
