More about Brenda:"I was born in Frenchburg Kentucky in 1953. We moved around alot but we always went back to the mountains. For my siblings Shelby was probably home! But for me it was on claylick mountain on pretty ridge. It's the only place I ever felt at home. I realize now it was the peaceful country. Watching the wind blow thru the trees. Smelling the plants and earth. The forest has a scent all it's own. The trees and grass, wild flowers. Yes and even the animals. It's the smells of life I miss...Expand for more
, and the sounds. The city's have beautiful things in the stores, there are always sounds from factories and buisy traffic. The smells of tire rubber. If your quiet you might hear the birds that gather in the trees in the parks. As for me! I miss standing in a forest and hearing and smelling life all around me. Smelling a fresh plowed field. Hearing the crickets and tree frogs at night. Or the singing of the birds as they wake to seek breakfast. Well like I said, maybe I'm the only one who misses this. But I am me!!! And I am the daughter of farmers.".
