Brenda's Story
I went to Berry Elementary from Kindergarten to Fourth grade; so did my whole family (5 kids), and then we moved. That was from 1963 to around 1968.
I remember some of my classmates and neighbors who went there, but only a few by name at this time: Rebecca (Becky) Chevalier-my best friend, Glen (Harley) Davis, Eddie Meyer, Julia Ann Contreras, John Paul, and others. I went to Fonville Jr. High and Sam Houston High School, (had...Expand for more
a class with Glen Davis at Sam Houston), but lost contact soon after that. I eventually married my husband, but he didn’t attend there.
I used to sit on the side of the road (Berry Rd.) and sell cupcakes before school. I guess I've always been an entrepreneur by nature. We’re steadily building a Plumbing Company and specialize in new-build Hospitality projects.
Born and raised in Houston, but moved to the Suburbs in 1987.
