Brenna's Story
This is so strange! I feel like I'm reflecting back on someone's life that wasn't mine. So mostly I will talk about the present.
The past 22 years have been good for me. My husband and I live on a small farm south of Creston, B.C., bordering the Idaho panhandle. We have a heavy equipment contracting business. I find the equipment is really handy for setting up and maintaining my vegetable gardens! :) This time of year I'm starting seedlings for all my hanging baskets. In 2 weeks I'll be receiving 85 two day old araucana chicks from Iowa that I hope will be laying blue and green eggs by September. When I'm not gardening and farming I'm doing the company books and related office work. When I can, I squeeze in some interesting (?) cooking. Our kids are 19 and 20 years old. They live in Calgary and Cranbrook. My donkey, horse, 2 dogs and several cats are all really spoiled rotten. Even the chickens are named and pampered.

y 20s, finally settling in Creston which is a beautiful farm area. Its unspoiled character reminded me of the Saanich Peninsula of the 1960s. Although I miss the ocean I have rarely visited the coast in the past 25 years.
In the winter I work on the Property Assessment Review Panel. It is my only link to my "previous" life when I worked as an appraiser for the Assessment Authority and as a private industry appraiser.
When we travel, we visit Calgary, Lethbridge, Spokane, Kalispell and any other locations that host interesting car shows. We particularly like the Libby, Montana car show in August which is never boring, really friendly, and hosts the most incredible burn-out competition in the U.S.
To sum it up, life just couldn't be any better!
