Brent's Story
For the moment, pretty much all my random musings can be found on my blog (coweng.blogspot.com/), there there's my other blogging attempt (metamorphbib.blogspot.com). So, let's see, since high school graduation, I've:
1) finished college (College of Wooster, 2000)
2) visited Ireland
3) gotten engaged (in Ireland)
4) gotten married (in Wooster)
5) been adopted by two cats (Loki and Hermione)
6) earned a M.A. in Literature (Kent State, 2004)
7) earned a PhD in Literature (Kent...Expand for more
State, 2008)
8) finished a dissertation/book on werewolves
-- involving Terry Pratchett, J.K. Rowling, and medieval literature, plus Jung and early modern stuff too
9) re-visited Ireland (2008)
10) taught college writing and two lit courses for several years now
11) presented several academic papers
12) published a few academic book reviews
13) published three academic papers (two in journals, one in an anthology)
14) learned Middle and Old English
15) started studying aikido
