Bret's Story
Life
I've been married only 4-years, a relative short time, compared to most of my other classmates. No kids as yet, I know, everyone tells me, "Early forties and starting a family?? better you than me!" Well, it's probably because I never had time early on. I had graduated from S.J. State in '81, and thereafter started working at Pantronix Corporation (now located in Fremont) where I have been ever since. I'm the Dir. of Program Management. The company assemble's integrated circuits and PC board assemblies. I had also been involved with a lot of activities right after graduation, which probably precluded the normal progression of things. when I did one of those "City Slicker" cattle drives in Nevada. I was a partner in an equestrian center for about 5-years. On most weekends from '92-'97 you could almost always find me out at Sunol Park giving trail rides. That's actually how I had met my wife LeAnn - she was a volunteer out there. I also drove wedding carriages at some of the local vinyards, Wente and Concannon. My wife and I have three horses of our own, and are currently living in Livermore. Not having kept in touch with many of my class mates since graduation, it's nice to see so many of our class had joined. Has anyone besides me stayed local? I guess with the cost of living here, I can see why most have left the area. Hope to see everyone at our 25th!
