Bret's Story
Life
Upon turning 35 in 2003, I discovered I am fully an adult. My perspective on many things has slowly shifted over the year, sometimes in very unexpected ways.
I have let go of certain dreams "of my youth" -- let go instead of giving up -- and embraced new dreams, new goals.
I am finally enjoying "single living" without feeling the pressure to find a mate. Maybe its because at 35, I'm now in de...Expand for more
mand -- never married, attractive, and successful.
I still deal with the difficulty of Seasonal Affective Disorder, and just recently I suffered a major loss due to fire, and I am still suffering from the pain of that loss - of what it represents.
However, I am free of other baggage, just as level headed and clear thinking as I've always been. I'm looking forward to what the coming years may bring.
