Bria's Story
College
I just graduated with a BA in Political Science from Western Washington University and just moved back home to Puyallup (at least for the time being). College was amazing and I have made many life long friends, but I am definitely ready for a new chapter in my life. I am hoping to work for a non-profit organization, such as World Vision- something that makes a difference in the world. No boy in the picture yet, but who knows what God has in store? I'm hoping to be able to travel in the next few years, to Europe (Italy, Greece, Germany, UK, Norway, Prague, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, and maybe France), and hopefully visit the east coast as well. I love to dance, sing, play the piano, read, talk about current issues, the arts (music, art, theatre), hike, travel, photography, shop, etc. My sis is a junior at Whitworth and my bro just graduated from RHS and is going to UW next year! I might be the church choir accompaniest next year (it pays!) and I am looking forward to getting more involved- maybe in the ch...Expand for more
ildren's ministry. I was very involved in The INN (a campus ministry at WWU) for the last five years and went on a mission trip this spring to San Francisco, which was amazing- I also had the priviledge of going on two other ones- Washington DC and NYC. School wasn't the easiest for me because I found out that I had ADD and struggled with that, but I prevailed and found the right major- I especially loved my comparative politics classes, but I had some great classes both in the political theory area and the American Public policy area. I have figured out that I am, for the most part a conservative, though I may be a moderate conservative.... My decision to choose political science was primarily because of my incredible AP Government teacher, Mr. Gendreau- the best teacher I've ever had (besides Mr. Michel, the RHS Choral Director). My life is great and I'm excited to see what's in store for me!! If you want, you can find me on Facebook or on myspace- I would love to hear from some old friends who I've lost contact with!
