Brian's Story
Life
I spent 23 years in the Navy Seabees. Retired from the Navy in Oct 2003. Currently in Puyallup, Wa. just outside of Tacoma, Wa. Married with a 15 year old son. I am working in the construction industry.
School
School, huummmm, well I guess that we all know that I was not one to learn things the easy way. But, I would not change anything! It made me who I am today and I am happy with that. There were a lot of good times and friends.
Military
Well over 23 years to lay out...so here goes. Boot camp in San Diego, Ca. CM "A" School in Port Hueneme, Ca. First duty station Adak, Ak. First Batallion NMCB 3 back in Port Hueneme,...Expand for more
Ca. with deployments to Sigonella, Sicly and Guam. On to Japan (Yokosuka) just south of Yokohama for three years. Then to Antiartica VIA New Zeland. Next stop SEAL Team Support in Coronado, Ca. (San Diego) I got out in May of 90 and went in the reserves till I got recalled and went to Desert Shield and Storm. Back on active duty and back to NMCB 3 in Port Hueneme, Ca. with deployments to Guam and Rota, Spain. Then back to Japan this time to a Marine Corps base Iwakuni (just south of Hiroshima) for three years. Back to Port Hueneme to Naval Construction Training Center for three years. And, one last tour in Yokosuka Japan of three years.
