Robert's Story
Life
Born in Bristol, Tennessee. Moved to Florida when I was 12 years old. Attended middle school at Palm Beach Public, and graduated from Forest Hill H.S. in 1986. Enlisted in the U.S. Army for 3 years, participated in Desert Storm. Left the service in 1991. Married to Lynne Johnson in 1991. We have only one child born in 1993. Military
Joined in 1987. I finished basic training at Ft. Bliss, Texas. I completed my advanced training at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas (91A10). In November of 1987 I was shipped to Garlstedt, W. Germany and assigned to the 1/41 Mech Infantry Battalion as a combat medic. I was re-assigned to the PAC at battalion HQ as a promotions clerk. I ETS in January, 1990.
