Brian's Story

Life A condensed, post H.S. biography - I graduated from Alexandria AVTI in 84 (Law Enforcement), U of M in 87 (Sociology) and St. Mary's in 91 (Registered Nurse). I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. I worked as a Correctional Counselor II (prison guard) at MCF-OPH from 87-91; a Nurse Manager at AICOTA in Aitkin from 91-94; an Occupational Health Specialist at Potlatch in Brainerd from 94-99; and the Director of Occupational Health and Safety at CRMC (Cuyuna Regional Medical Center) in Crosby from 99 to present. Present job responsibilities include: Facility Safety, Workers Compensation, Infection Control, Occupational Health and Bioterrorism. I live with my wife, Priscilla on Black Lake in Deerwood. uxford, Luke Spalj, Kim “Johnson” Coughlin and Brad Houge. I believe Jeanene Gregg and Jim Chamberlin also have Deerwood addresses. My wife is Priscilla - a true saint to put up with me, is beautiful with a personality like no one I've ever known. She works as a Dietician in Aitkin. We have 3 Boys (red-necks in every sense of the word) – 2 are mostly still at home...we are working on that! Hobbies (part-time jobs) - Ironton Fire Department Chief for the past 5 years; State Director for the Minnesota Deer Hunter's Association and my brother Jeff and I have a mini-storage in Ironton with 150 units. REAL Hobbies – In the fall most my free time is spent with a bow in a tree, during the winter I solve the worlds problems while holding a spear in a dark house and during the spring and summer I move rocks for my wife (she has far to many rock gardens). My life has truly been blessed.
