Brian's Story
Life
Remarried in October of 2010 on the beach in Kaui'i. Wife, Genie is a retired teacher who still does substitute work in the Cherry Creek district in the Denver area. We just bought a house in Castle Rock, Colorado and have now combined two households. We have plenty left over.
My Pets
All dogs have now passed on. We have been without a pet now for quite a while...update...White Schnauzer named Abby now owns me!
My Kids
The oldest daughter is Kelly Gandy. She lives with her family that includes my 4 grand kids in Colorado Springs. Her husband Bill is the leader of the Pikes Peak are Baptist Student Union.
Stacey is our younger daughter. She has worked with Barkley Financial Services here in Colorado Springs but is just now opening a call center for them in Wilton, Maine. This will be interesting for her as she has spent more than 30 years in Colorado Springs. She is a mountain girl and I expec...Expand for more
t her back....update, Stacey has been there now 8 months and her husband graduates from college in about a month. He graduates here in Colorado Springs and they have just signed a years lease on a house in Mt. Vernon.
My Job
Great position. I am a principal in a company that acts as a reseller and consultant for technology products. Our section is responsible for developing computer networks and consulting for K-12 as well as limited targeted higher educational institutions. We focus primarily on rural schools and have a great time visiting with them and finding monies for them to use for a variety of purposes. I also get to play golf in more small towns than I knew existed.
Update...Brian is now semi retired. I work from home and most of the work is now on a consulting basis with school districts.
The semi retirement is working well. I am even to the point that I seem to play more golf than I work!
