Brian's Story
Life
I was born in Poughkeepsie, raised in Queens, moved to Rockland County. Went to Ramapo High, graduated, went to Plattsburgh State, met my wife Randi, graduated, worked at ESPN for a year, and am STILL with NBC working for MSNBC. Why I stay...who knows. What I REALLY live for: my hobbies, my friends and family, and anytime not spent earning a dollar. Right now my son, Jacob, keeps us very busy!
School
My favorite thing to do at Ramapo was to do ANYTHING related to Ms. Jayson and Mr. Goldress' AV Program - whether that involved taking classes with them, working for them as part of the after school program with Adult Ed or cutting classes and editing videos for them for the ...Expand for more
East Ramapo Video Magazine or entering video contests. I also enjoyed working the blood drives with Mr. Cairns. Not much else at the school interested me.
College
Plattsburgh was a great place to visit after i spent my college years there. While I was there I didn't appreciate the time up there enough. It's hard when you're going to college in ht emidst of a recession. I did meet my wife there - my brother Jim and brother in law David also graduated there.
Workplace
I work for MSNBC and have worked at NBC in New York. I am currently a Technical Manager there. The job is challenging and the people are great. I enjoy moving around every few years and trying new challenges.
