Brian's Story
Life
After Old Mill I joined the Army. I was sent to Ft McClellan, Alabama for basic training and Military Police School. I was stationed out at Ft Lewis in Washington State. While there I worked as a military policeman and accident reconstructionist. I was sent TDY to Hawaii and Honduras, CA. Honduras was an amazing country and the the people were great. Actually got to use all that Spanish I studied in school.
In 1987 I left the Army and went to work for Washington State Patrol as a State Trooper. I was stationed in Yakima, which is in the middle of the state...this too was a result of my Spanish studies in school. There is a very large Hispanic population in Yakima. I loved the work and became an advanced accident investigator. Sadly I went thru one wife in this job, as shift work is not the easiest on family life. I did however, meet m...Expand for more
y current wife while working (I was already divorced)...she was a news reporter for ABC and she interviewed me for a story about DUI's...her camera man convinced me to ask her out. I left the Patrol in 1993 and married Christy the same year. We moved to St. Louis, MO for Christys' work with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in 1996. She does all of the public relations for the company.
Currently I work for Edward Jones as an Investment Representative. I have been with Jones since January 2002, but in the industry since 1997. We adopted our son, Taylor, from Russia in 2001. He is now 8 years old and an amazing joy in my life.
We get back to Maryland once or twice a year, as my mom still lives in the same house in Crownsville. It would be great to hear from old friends... eight hundred, eight, six, three, five, one, five, seven, is my toll free number.
