Brian's Story
I have three adult children and two granddaughters, as of 2025. Married to Laura, whom I met on a blind date at the Teen Scene in 1969 when she was a senior at North Allegheny.
My incredibly good fortune (besides my family) was to have a career as a tennis official. I worked in 25 countries, but have the best memories of working at the US Open (40 tournaments, 26 as Tournament Referee), French Open (25 of them!) and Wlimbledon ...Expand for more
(25 as well), to go with 5 Australian Opens. Got my 15 minutes of fame twice, both times with Serena Williams at the US Open (2009 and 2018).
I retired in 2018, but couldn't take the "relaxation", so I went back to work part-time. I now work 8-10 tournaments a year, mostly in the states. We live in southern Connecticut, near our children. I play squash (a lot) and tennis (once in a while) and otherwise stay busy with family.
