Brian's Story
Life
I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico and am married, and have two children (from the second marriage). Martin is attending medical school in Tel Aviv and Natalie is in LA contemplating law school.
After CHS, I went straight to CSUN, and then to Syracuse University for a master degree, and then finished my Ph.D. (economics) at the University of California, San Diego. I then spent the next five years in Washington, DC (General Accounting Office) and then Argonne National Laboratory. I then taught for a year at UCSD before moving to Chicago in 1991. onomic consultant, I accepted an offer to join Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.
Becca and I have been together since 1991 and married in 1996. She also works for Los Alamos National Laboratory. We have a Welsh Corgi (Blue) that keeps us on our toes and gives us excuses to take walks together during the evenings. Over the last few years, we have traveled to the likes of Mexico, England, Belgium, France, Sicily, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and most recently, Israel to visit my son. We'll be making our fourth trip to Israel next May to attend his med school graduation ceremony.
