My Spouse
She came up to me and told me to get the antique clothing I was wearing out of the sun. Just as she did, Mount Saint Helens blew up (we were about 150 miles away but could still hear it).
My Pets
One cat these days.
My Kids
Pat is not 35 with 3 daughters. Cassie is 28 and expecting her second daughter. Brie is 25 and living a few miles from us.
Military
Actually I served aboard USS Independence, USS Enterprise, USS Patrick Henry, USS Carl Vinson, and USS Nimitz in the 21 years I was in the Navy. I have been to a lot of exotic places during my time in the military. Places I got to were the Philippines...Expand for more
(too many times to count), Hong Kong (at least 5 times), Singapore (5 times there), Mombasa (Kenya 3 times), Korea (twice), Guam (6 or 7 times), Thailand, Australia, Tasmania, and Diego Garcia (a little Atoll in the middle of the Indian Ocean). I was on Enterprise when we covered the pull-out of Saigon and we took Patrick Henry through the Panama Canal. I also lived in Hawaii for a couple of years while stationed on the submarine.
I work at a Naval Shipyard these days. I have been sent a number of places for them including San Diego, Portsmouth New Hampshire, and Japan. I work with sewing machines and sealing machines.
