Brian's Story
Hi...
Where do I start? After high school I received my BA in Communications with an emphasis in Film. Worked in the Motion Picture business at Warner Bros. for 25 years, then retired. Got a teaching credential in California in 2001 and taught High School in the Santa Clarita Valley ( can you believe that, me a teacher!!!). Anyway, planned my retirement to the East Coast and moved to Newburyport, Massachusetts in August of 2002. Its a small town located at the mouth of the Merrimac River and the Atlantic Ocean with a population of about 18,000. We are about 25 minutes north of Boston. Within eight months of our arrival, my wife, Liza, developed a brain tumor and passed away from Cancer. I love it so much in Massachusetts that I decided to remain an...Expand for more
d have been here ever since. Love the change of seasons, the Spring and Fall are indescribable. I now teach High School here. I have six children, four of my own and two from my second marriage. Three girls, and three boys, ranging in age from 39 to 27. I also have five Grandchildren. Proud of all of my kids, my youngest is getting married this summer in Boston, the rest live in California.
Usually get out to California at least once a year to visit my kids and grand kids. On occasion I have gone by SCHS, sure brings back memories. Would love to hear from anyone.
