Brian's Story
Life
My wife Renee (Rutana) and I have been married 14 years and have two unbeleivable children. As of September, 2009, Ariana Elizabeth is 6yrs old and Kyle Thomas is 4yrs old. I don't know now why we waited so long to have them. Renee and I love to travel and take photos that she later paints on canvas, in oil or acrylic. She has an art studio at the Indian Orchard Mills and is very active in the artist community.
Renee and I met in college but we were both dating other people. Two years after college we met again, this time we both were available. The rest is history! In my spare time (what is that?) I enjoy playing with my kids, going to the gym, golfing , shooting pool, or taking off for trips with the family to the east coast, to : Rockport, Cape Cod ,Boston, Maine, Newport, R.I., etc. We have also been lucky enough to travel to many other great places such as Arizona and the Grand Canyon and Sedona, Florida and Hawii , with the kids these past few years.

brought me to where I am today. I have always enjoyed the service industries, and Reeds Landing combines the best of all areas of my background. It has been a perfect fit.
My position involves a variety of challenges, from helping residents get settled into a luxurious cottage, apartment, or modern assisted living, and nursing home facility, to handling capital improvements, utilities management, staff developement, safety, federal and state regulations, to running the daily activities of our own maintenance, groundskeeping, security, housekeeping and laundry departments.
What sets Reeds Landing apart from other communities is that not only do we have the staff that are the best at what they do, but we also have created a family like environment here. A true small community, where neighbors and staff care about each other and go out of their way to help one another. When you walk around the community you will easily get a sense of the warm atmosphere. It is hard to explain how it was formed, but I can tell you that much of it comes from the large portion of staff and residents that have worked and lived here the 14 years we have been open. I hope we can continue our success and maybe one day I just may move in myself!
