Brian's Story
Life
After graduating from HHHS, I attended American University in Washington, DC; outside of high school, the four years I spent in college were the most memorable of my life. My career after college has been primarily spent in the retail business, much of it at the senior levels with companies like Bloomingdale's, the Gap, Victoria's Secret, Macy's, and St. John Knits. I also had a brief stint as a Vice President for Citicorp in Chicago. Approximately eight years ago, I made a career change and began working in the dot-com/internet arena. focuses on personal finance and lifestyle issues, and in April, 2006 I was named President/Chief Executive Officer.
My wife, Lin and I just celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary; we have five children all grown, and all doing well. In fact, my youngest son, Andrew, is the lead singer/songwriter/piano player for Jack's Mannequin, a popular rock band that is under contract to Maverick Records, a division of Warner Music; he released his third album, "Living In Transit", in August, 2005.
In addition, we have four grandchildren, Molly and Max, Sydney, and Charlie, with a fifth grandchild on the way in October, 2007.
