Brian's Story
Life
My Spouse
In a camera store in the Westland Mall. She had an antique camera that she was trying to get some info on from the immigrant Cuban clerk. I knew more about the camera then the store clerk. We chatted there in the store and I walked her out to her car. Would you believe that I did not get her name! Just so happened that our fathers worked at Eastern Air Lines. My dad found her father by asking around. I got her phone number and called her about two weeks later. Rest is history.
My Kids

Workplace
I retired from the USAF in 1988. I needed a job and the federal government had a hiring freeze going on. A job came up with the local fire department and I got it. Never in my life had I thought about being a firefighter. I went on to become a paramedic. I now work in the 911 center where I take care of all fire department communications issues and supervise the Emergency Medical Dispatch system. I was just recently promoted to Fire Captain.
Military
I enlisted in the USAF in 1968 in order to avoid being drafted into the Army. After my first tour in the USAF, I decided that I liked the military and reenlisted. I ended up staying for 21 years total.
