Brian's Story
Last year of high school I went to live with my oldest brother in Colorado. I stayed 8 months before making the decision to return home. In 1986, when I returned to Norwalk, I began working for Cablevision with my dad. I stayed there for 2 years, until my friend Herb Edmondson's dad got us jobs with S.N.E.T. I worked there for 5 years. During that time, I met my wife while hanging out in the Bronx, NY. That was in January 1990. It only took me 6 months to realize that this was the woman, that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I asked her for her hand in marriage on Christmas day 1990. we were married June 6, 1992 in the Bronx. We had our first child, a boy on Dec. 21, 1992. be. It allowed me to stay home and bond with my 3 month old son, while my wife returned back to work. After being out of work 5 months, I returned to Cablevision in Aug. 1993, in their New York City system. My wife and I then had a beautiful baby girl in 1995. It was a perfect blessing for me, because at that same time my parents sold their home, and moved to North Carolina. I would no longer be able to reach out and touch Mom & Dad as often as I liked. Still I managed to see them a minimum of once a year. They would take the children for the summer up until 2 years ago. Now they are a little to grown to hang out with Granny.LOL.
So, as of today I own a home in Yonkers, NY with my wife and 2 children. I've been with Cablevision of the Bronx since 1993, and I am a part of their Field Ops. management team.
