Brian's Story
Life
Married in 1994. After being a social worker for many years, I returned to Cal in 1993 and resumed work in 1994 on the Ph.D. I had started years earlier (finished in 1997). me. I teach social work, social policy, and professional ethics courses. I was promoted to full professor in 2005 and am serving a second stint as department chair (the first was 97-01).
My wife retired in January 2005 at the Public Guardian of Santa Cruz County. We have two grandkids and a third due around the first of April 2006.
