Brian's Story

Life I am the Warning Coordination Meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Omaha. I take care of training storm spotters and doing storm damage surveys. I am happilly married to my wife Paula, who is originally from Glenview. I have 4 boys who keep us active. I am active as a den leader for Cub Scouts and as a b...Expand for more
aseball coach. I still watch the Cubs with hope that someday they will make it to the World Series (yea, right). I am also active in my hobbies of scale model building (when I have time!) and working on a big family Lionel train layout in the basement. I also still pick up the trumpet and play at at church once in a while.

Even though I didn't win any award at the IPMS, I had fun, met some new people, and spent too much. I also had many compliments of my Seaview model.
11 years ago after the hoot one events of Sept. 11th, I decided to make this paper model of the WTC. It has been displayed in my office ever since. It is my own personal remembrance of that event.

Today was a special day as Ian turned 21 today. He is in Lego building mode right now. We had cake (ugghhh. ...the Cardinals) and homemade ice cream.
